I Would Describe Myself As I'm artistic, philosophical, politically conscious, analytical, encouraging, sensitive, primarily optimistic, friendly, with a sense of humor and humility. I enjoy being supportive, helpful and sharing the joys of life with another. I strive for acceptance, understanding and a sense of exploration. I dearly love animals, especially the three cats and dog who live with me. I've been a vegetarian for nearly 30 years, and frequently eat as a vegan/localvore. I love dancing, singing, jamming (for enjoyment, though I'm not a musician, per se). I adore Reggae, African Rhythms, World Music, Blues, Classic Rock, and great vocalists from a spectrum of genres. I"m politically progressive. Really into movies (comedies, documentaries, spiritually focused films, and movies that move the collective consciousness really touch my heart). Cooking with a beloved partner can be such a connecting and fun experience; I love to explore all forms of vegetarian cooking and raw foods, as well. I love to garden and be with plants. I explore the mysteries of health and healing and am very excited about what the alternative health community has been discovering about touch, sound, color, light and our emotional awareness. I love swimming, biking, camping and walks in the woods and being renewed by nature. I also love to travel. Other interests include writing, photography and making art in various media (video, ceramics, painting, mosaics, beading and recycled art).
