I Would Describe Myself As I'm pretty lighthearted most of the time and enjoy being active, including traveling, working out, hiking, playing sports, etc. I'm vegetarian but I don't fit the stereotype -- I'm not a yogi or hippie (but it's fine if you are). I'm an athlete and sports fan, but I'm also intellectual. I'm a leader and a bit of an alpha, but I'm also kind and affectionate. Humor and being playful is very important to me, but I can also be serious when necessary. I strive to strike a balance between these varied attributes.

I generally think that society's relationship priorities are out of whack. Guys are out there chasing the prettiest face they can find, while it seems that a substantial number of women covet men that meet their standards for money/status. Don't get me wrong, attraction and financial stability are valid considerations. But it seems like a problem when they are prioritized above everything else. For me personally, chemistry and compatibility are far more important. There certainly has to be physical attraction. But given the choice between a cutie with whom I have great chemistry, and a supermodel with whom I don't - I'd happily choose the cutie. As a side note, I'm educated, have a good job, and I'm ambitious. But these things don't define me. I'd put family happiness ahead of career success any day.

A few things that I've done/experienced that gave me good stories to tell include: getting on the wrong plane, driving through a tornado in the Midwest, getting extorted by a cop in Michigan, playing in a regional basketball tournament in Boston, kickboxing in Thailand, barely surviving a storm in the Gulf of Thailand, going to Times Square for New Years but missing the ball drop, chasing a shoplifter but almost getting arrested myself, and my all-out battle with a bat (of the winged variety). I generally prefer to do my storytelling in person. But if we ever meet, and you want to hear a good story, ask me about any of these. Oh yeah, and don't forget to ask about my date with Angelina Jolie.

Note: I'm a very good athlete and generally exercise every day. However, I've been rehabbing a couple injuries, so I've been forced to stay away from sports and the gym for a few months (doctor's orders). So, in the interest of full disclosure, I recently switched my body type to "average."

What Do You Look For? If you are vegetarian/vegan, or at least veggie-friendly, then that's obviously a great start. If you spend enough time with me, I guarantee two things: (1) I'll make you laugh; and (2) I'll make you think. Hopefully more of number 1, though ;-) Humor is very important to me - I can joke about anything - so having a playful spirit is a must.
