I'm a fairly down-to-earth, independent girl who isn't looking for someone to become my life but to enhance the fulfilled life I have. The missing piece of the puzzle is the true life partner... I've finally realised that some things can't be compromised on & my core values must be shared by my partner also. My strong beliefs about animals and animal welfare shape my life. I've been vegetarian for over 30 years, now vegan. I aim to leave just small footprints in my wake and I have a happy, healthy lifestyle. I'm not obsessed with 'healthy' mind you, and I definitely enjoy junk from time to time. Crisp butties anyone??
My friends say the following of me: compassionate, sensitive & warm. Intelligent, Quirky. Fiercely loyal. Not particularly shy but definitely doesn't seek the limelight. .
I enjoy exercise and keeping myself fit. I try to use the gym 3/4 times a week, but I love nature so I'd much rather spend this time doing something active outdoors. I have a demanding job & use exercise to balance my life & to stay sane!
Some things I love. . . . : My family. Animals, spending quality time with friends. People who are motivated to make a difference. The outdoors, wildlife and peace and quiet. Hiking in the Lake District. Interesting cities, trying new food & finding wonderful vegan/ veggie restaurants. Picnics! Meeting like-minded people in surprising places. Living within easy reach of a train station. Avocados. Affection.
