I Would Describe Myself As I've been called a "paradox" which is nice, but it also make it difficult for me to "fit" perfectly into a certain "type". I'm open-minded but I have strong convictions. I'm agreeable without being a "yes (wo)man)". I'm a compassionate, empathetic person…sensitive to others, but I love to laugh. I'm an animal rights activist.

Holding hands, great a.m. beverage downtown or a mosey through a museum are my kind of romantic. I'm passionate in my communication style, intelligent without feeling the need to prove it to everyone and empathetic. I've been called both patient and impatient, lol. I prefer the forest to the beach. I would love to live in a refurbished barn, but it would be great to at least have one out back for my work with animals. I enjoy DIY home projects, interior decorating, gardening and just being out in nature. A great night in might be cooking dinner together and eating by a fire (indoors or outside). My dog and I enjoyed our swimming hole in a nearby arboretum daily this Summer. I like a small country town environment with a big city nearby…a natural lifestyle punctuated by trips to the city for theatre, art, museums, shopping, dinner and cocktails, etc. I'm not an athlete and I don't belong to a gym, but I do animal rescue work, so I still climb trees, wade in chest deep water, crawl in dirt or whatever it takes. For sports, I play golf (poorly) and enjoy watching hockey. I love sled riding and would love to get back onto skis but would need a lesson and a bunny slope, lol.
I would love to be part of a family with a loving man who is passionate about contributing positively to the world. I am Catholic and attend Tridentine mass every Sunday. I understand if you don't. I seek a man who is kind, loves to laugh and who genuinely likes animals with the sincere hope that it will grow into long last love.
