- Я бы описал(а) себя как How I describe myself: I am a naturalist, environmentalist, and ethicist according to the philosophy of Albert Schweitzer. I've been working in the environmental and energy fields for a long time - a passion - but I don't "live to work anymore," rather I "work to live" that affords a grateful lifestyle. There's so many interests...and some (not all) are more enjoyable with someone you care for. I was raised to treat woman with respect. I state that explicitly because while I certainly have my share of vices and rough edges, my woman's security and welfare always come first. As with most people who live long enough, I've experienced various religious and spiritual revelations; and, I enjoy fellowship regardless of faith or denomination. As I get older, I am embracing Christmas and Samhain traditions, much like I did as a boy, though with greater awareness which I find fascinating (there is energy in the sun and the cycles of the seasons that modern humans have taken for granted). I enjoy riding motorcycles, muscle cars, hiking, woodworking, and just about everything else that involves hand-eye coordination. I also enjoy various forms of art, mostly from the romantic period, such as the awe-inspiring landscape paintings of Thomas Cole and Albert Bierstadt. I have a modest gallery of modern luminary artists. To balance the yin and yang, I also endeavor to cultivate, each year, a rather large organic garden - a blessing it is to enjoy fresh vegetables and fruits of the seasons. FYI: I am not interested in becoming texting or e-mail friends. I am divorced and am ready to find a special person to both compliment an existing good life and to build a new journey with. FWIW: I got my gray hair while serving in the military as a combat soldier many moons ago, and I understand it makes me look much older. I once dyed it to dark natural brown color and while it made me look younger I felt it was somewhat pretentious, thus am back to natural :) I trust this introduction gives you a small reflection of my nature and interests.
