I Would Describe Myself As I work hard and then like to kick back and enjoy myself. I tend to be a little shy at first but can warm up and be dynamic and engaging. I am a vegetarian and would prefer someone of like mind.

My interests are often eccentric, but like movies, writing, reading and nights by the fire. I am looking for someone who is a bit more outgoing than me, is willing to talk honestly, has her own interests but some in common, and is willing take me for who I am.

I am mature, thoughtful, caring, creative, tolerant, intellectual, independent, sometimes clever, and often eclectic in my interests and attitudes. I enjoy problem solving, nature, outdoor activities, pets, movies, computers, writing, oenology, a good drink, social interaction, small parties, and quiet nights by the fire. Outdoor activities include golfing, lawn care and gardening, camping, canoeing, and back packing although aging has caused me to limit these activities somewhat and seek more comfortable means of enjoying them.

I have a beautiful tri-colour English setter, two indoor cats and a few outdoor cats - mostly strays - but a few too many. I have been married twice (16 and 15 years), but evidently not to the right woman. Now that I am divorced, I can try again. Hopefully, this time I will get it right. I have many interests and think that I will always be working at something and I am sure that I will retire to my own endeavors.

I enjoy writing and am currently writing something that I would classify fantasy science fiction. I am looking for human contact. I have been a vegetarian for about a third of my life. I am looking for a vegetarian friend in my area and companionship. I am also looking for love and passion in my life with someone who can be as caring and devoted as I am. Hopefully I will eventually find a soul-mate for the rest of my years. I have at least thirty years more by my reckoning.
