After leaving school aged 15 I worked as an Engineer (hands on/practical) till I retired in 2001 and since then have enjoyed life to the full. With Golfing Mates I played some of the lovely courses in Spain and Portugal and I still enjoy hitting shots on my local Golf Driving Range and Golf Course. Nowadays my main passion is visiting Art Galleries, Museums and Historical Sites on the Continent and in the UK.
I enjoy Home Life doing the normal everyday things, Reading, watching TV and Movies, listening to Music and Radio and cooking healthy meals from scratch.
Unfortunately a long term relationship ended over a year ago and I've been on my own too long. It would be good to have the company and friendship of a woman to meet up and spend time together sharing our interests such as holidays and home life.
Many holidays were spent in Paris, Amsterdam and Normandy visiting the Art Galleries, Museums and Places of Interest. The most recent was a visit to The North of England staying at The Centre of Britain Hotel in Haltwhistle with nearby Hadrian's Wall, The Roman Army Museum and Vindolanda the Roman Army Camp Site still being excavated.
